ORR : a daughter of Mr. Orr – Died July 10, 1883 in or around London, Ontario aged 7 – Drowned in the sudden rise of the river Thames caused by heavy rains. – (JRO 83).

ORTON, Henry – M.D. (1857) – Born December 1833 at the Manor House, Belston, near Nottingham, England – Died March 24, 1882 at Ancaster, Ontario – Died injuries 8 weeks after a horseback riding accident – His father, after whom he was named, and 3 of his brothers, Surgeon Major T. J. Orton (on the staff in India), Dr. G. T. Orton, M.P. for Centre Wellington in the House of Commons, and Dr. Richd. Orton, of Guelph, Ontario, are all eminent members of the medical profession, and we understand that for several generations every male member of the family (which is an old Leicestershire one) have been medical men. He was buried with Masonic honours – (Obit. 82).
