CAMPBELL, Chas. Archibald – M.D. – Native of Callander, Perthshire, Scotland – Died March 15, 1886 at Sabrevois, Quebec. He came to Canada in 1838. He married in 1847 a daughter of Mr. Jas. McGillivray, of Sabrevois. He claimed that his father was a near relation of a Marquis of Breadalbane, and had served in the army under Prince Charles Edward in 1745. – (Obit. 86).

Campbell, the ''hero of St. Sebastian.'' His adopted daughter is the wife of Lieut. Col. J. Vance Graveley, Mayor of Cobourg. – (Obit. 80-81).
